Students in Year 11 have the option of two programs with various levels of flexibility, expanding on the foundation programs completed in Year 10.
Year 11 students have two pathways to choose from that will define how they complete their last two years of secondary schooling: VCE, or VCE — Vocational Major (VM)
Students who study the VCE have the flexibility to choose subjects based on their interests and their career aspirations. We offer over 40 different VCE subjects for students to choose from, across a range of categories including English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Health and PE, Languages, Arts and Technologies. Students will study 6 VCE Units each semester, and will continue their Religious Education studies. Students will complete Unit 1 and 2 examinations.
Students who completed an Accelerated Learning Units 1&2 subject in Year 10 may be permitted to accelerate and complete a Units 3&4 subject in Year 11. An application process applies for all students seeking to accelerate.
A full list of our VCE subjects on offer can be found in the on our curriculum website.

As part of VM, students will also complete a VET subject of their choice, as well as a weekly structured work placement.
