Year 11 Curriculum Structure
Year 11 students at St Francis Xavier College have the option of three programs:
- VCE
Students study:
- Six (6) x VCE Units each Semester
- Religious Education
- VCE SFXC Vocational Pathway
Students study:
- Five (5) x VCE Units each Semester
- One (1) x VCE VET subject each Semester
- Religious Education
- Assessment is non scored. A scored VCE in Year 12 is not an option. An ATAR is not possible for this pathway.
- A work placement is expected to be completed in lieu of Unit 1 and 2 examinations.
- Optional involvement in a range of vocationally based Careers information sessions and programs
- VCAL
(Most Year 11 VCAL students study Intermediate VCAL, however, some continue with Foundation VCAL)

- Literacy
- Numeracy
- Personal Development Skills
- Work Related Skills
- Religious Education
- VET each Wednesday
- Work placement at times calendared by SFXC
