We are thrilled to announce the launch of the SFXC Elite Sports Program for 2025, available to students in Years 7-12 who are fully enrolled at the College. In partnership with Melbourne Victory and Gippsland Power, this program brings an exciting new sporting opportunity to our College.
Selected students will have the chance to develop their skills in Soccer and AFL with guidance from high-level coaches. The program goes beyond sports-specific training, incorporating valuable insights into nutrition from a qualified nutritionist and practical strength and conditioning sessions held in our school gym.
For our 2025 Year 8 and Year 9 students, the program will be seamlessly integrated into their regular timetable, allowing them to fully engage with the content. While Year 7 students won’t participate in the academic aspect, a select group will have the opportunity to join morning practical sessions, gaining insights from elite-level coaching and experiencing the program firsthand. Our selection process considers not only current athletic performance but also the potential for growth in high-performance sports, as well as the ability to balance sports commitments with academic responsibilities. We also place a strong emphasis on effort and behavior.

Cost
There is no cost to participate in this program – costs are covered through student school fees. Participants in the 2025 program will need to purchase an ESP uniform which they will wear to all practical sessions. Approximate cost will be $100
