Welcome to Officer Campus

History

The Officer Campus was opened in 2012 to provide a catholic high school to the families in the rapidly growing outer South-Eastern suburbs and Western reaches of Gippsland.

Values

All our campuses share common values that centre around our main ambition: model Christ as best as possible in everything we do.

We know how important it is to create a positive learning environment for students. Teachers and staff at the Officer Campus are intentional in providing the encouragement and support students need to thrive and achieve their goals.

At St Francis Xavier College, we believe that the best results are achieved in partnership. Students, teachers, and other members of our Officer school community are invited to collaborate and be a part of a learning environment that is creative, innovative and personal to the needs of modern catholic school students.

In everything, we believe in providing a solid foundation for students. We echo the words of the parable of the sower: ‘’Then he told them many things in parables, saying: ‘A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.’’ (Matthew 13:3-8)

Curriculum

The motto of the Officer Campus is culture of excellence. The curriculum is designed to bring out the best in our students. Programs focus on being interesting and stimulating for all learners by providing diversity and a positive, encouraging learning environment.

Facilities

The Officer Campus was designed with the needs of modern students in mind. Entrances and exits are easily accessible, making it easy for students, parents, and teachers to access the property via their preferred mode of transport. Everything from the classroom layout and equipment to the sports facilities represent our desire to constantly evolve and cater to the needs of modern catholic secondary school students. Flexible learning areas with attached break out spaces for collaborative working and learning enhance the students study environment.
