Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute – CHOSEMATHS Careers Event
Today, 25 Year 11 and 12 female mathematics students attended the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI)-CHOSEMATHS Careers Event at Melbourne University.
The students got to hear from five AMSI Maths Ambassadors on how mathematics has enabled them to gain entry in to their profession and how they use maths in their work.
They were able to hear about applications of maths in Astrophysics to its use in Sports Science.
