Often in education, and schooling, end results are a focus. Results such as the completion of a VCE or VCAL Certificate, or an exam result or end of semester progression point are of significant interest. I understand the interest in these final or summative results. It is also important that we encourage students to focus on the learning behaviours which in many ways lead to the final outcomes. On the upcoming Cycle 1 Report will be feedback to students on particular learning behaviours which the College values. These learning behaviours are:
These learning behaviours are very important. I encourage parents to discuss with their child their progress in developing these learning behaviours and then perhaps continue the conversation at the upcoming student progress meetings.

Thanks to all parents for their involvement with the 2020 subject selection process. This week we have conducted nearly 1100 subject selection meetings.
Next Tuesday we have the Year 10 2020 subject selection meetings at Officer Campus.
Next Wednesday we have the Year 10 2020 subject selection meetings at Berwick Campus.
We look forward to the conversations which will take place next week between students, parents and teachers about plans the students have for the future and how we can collectively support the students to achieve their best.
