Vice Principal News – 29 November 2018

Thank you to the College community for supporting student achievement at St Francis Xavier College in 2018!

Each day students are offered a Catholic education with so many opportunities to learn and grow.

I would like to acknowledge the staff of the College who give so much or their energy and expertise to provide such great learning experiences for the students.

During the course of this year we completed the College Curriculum Review. This saw lots of ideas brought together into a model for implementation. The model was debated and many different enhancements took place. Not everyone’s ideas could be included but I trust that the College community is appreciative that student, parent and staff voice was heard and is present in the final outcomes. We look forward to 2019 and all of the wonderful learning opportunities which will be implemented!

The College has continued to enhance the differentiated nature of the learning program. Our assessment data is evidence that we are now better meeting the needs of all students and certainly stretching more students above standard.

Thank you to those who attended Presentation Night last week. It was a great celebration of excellence from across 2018.

Blessings for the end to 2018 for all of the St Francis Xavier College community! I look forward to seeing you again in 2019!
